The first production F2H-3 Banshee flew on the 29 of March, 1952. The
aircraft was designed to be a major upgrade from the F2H-2 series
Banshee. Major Improvements included a double increase in internal fuel
capacity, a lengthened fuselage, a redesigned tailplane, and an
all-weather radar. These among other improvements made the F2H-3 Banshee
